Tragedy tonight in Cagliari: a 44-year-old Polish mayor, who was in Sardinia together with other compatriot colleagues for a series of institutional visits, fell from the fourth floorof the hotel where he was staying and died.

The incident took place at 2 am at the Due Colonne hotel in the historic center. According to what was reconstructed by the mobile team, the mayor was in the room with a colleague and, apparently, he was sitting on the windowsill and would have lost his balance, falling into the void for several tens of meters. Excluding the hypothesis of an aggression: the fall would be attributable to an accident.

The alarm was raised by a passer-by. The agents of the steering wheel, the mobile squad and the 118 ambulance immediately arrived on the spot, but unfortunately for the 44-year-old Polish there was nothing to do. The investigators of the mobile, coordinated by the manager Fabrizio Mustaro started the investigations that lasted all night. Scientific specialists are also on site.
