On May 8, 2022, Yannick Alléno suddenly lost his 24-year-old son. At a standstill, at a red light on a scooter that evening, Antoine Alléno was tragically hit by a driver under the influence of drugs, driving a car reported stolen. The young man will not survive.

Looking into his memories, Yannick Alléno remembers the tragedy. Present at the scene of the accident, he describes a scene similar to that of an attack. "We were in an exceptional stupor," says the starred chef. After the shock comes very quickly the path of death, "A world of chaos" where the accompaniment is sorely lacking. "The individualism of death is not supported by society. When an attack happens, the lawyers are paid by the state, the psychological support is there, "says Yannick Alléno.

Faced with this loneliness, he and his relatives decided to create the "Antoine Alléno" association in the aftermath of the tragedy to provide moral, financial and administrative support to victims under 25 and bereaved families.

A fight to create a "traffic homicide"

Every year, about 700 people are killed on France roads by drivers under the influence of drugs. To prevent these tragedies, the association "Antoine Allino" fights for the establishment of a road homicide. "This will help people realize that a car can become a weapon. There can be dramatic consequences when it is misused," explains Yannick Alléno.
