The Mistral has been at half-mast since Friday. Michel Cordes, the emblematic Roland of Plus belle la vie, was found dead at his home in the Hérault. The trail of suicide by firearm was quickly favored.

This tragic death leaves orphans all the actors of the series with 18 seasons broadcast on France 3, who wanted to pay tribute to the actor.

Fabienne Carat was the first to salute the memory of the owner of the bar Le Mistral with pretty souvenir photos.

"Because you loved to laugh, because there was in you this eternal youth of spirit. Because you also shared with us all your experience of life, man and artist. Because you were whole, sensitive and fiery. Because you were the icon of our show, the pillar and the dad of all the actors. Because you loved life so much. Because trials, too many trials, degrade too pure hearts, free spirits and benevolent souls. Because you were a rock, because you passed on to us your passions for words, pottery and authenticity. Because you were passionate, a lover, because I do not believe in it, because I love you and we love you beyond, "added the interpreter of Samia Nassri.

Sader life

Jérôme Bertin, who played captain Patrick Nebout from 2013 to 2022, posted: "NO!!! I don't want this horrible news. I don't want to believe you are gone already. I don't want to mourn you. I don't want to! I have the impression that tonight, all those who have known, made, watched, loved Plus belle la vie are orphans. Michel, our national Roland, is like a dad to all of us. Always the mischievous look of the child that he had kept in him and at the same time that jovial wisdom, his smile and that voice, that voice that resonates in each of us tonight, as if he was saying goodbye. Goodbye Michel. Farewell my dear, my tender Michel, false grumpy and true nice. Rigole in peace. »

Pierre Martot, known for the role of Léo Castelli in the series, said: "Millions of people have recognized in you a father, a grandfather, a friend, a brother! You were the living embodiment of something very deep in this country – that's why people loved you so much. »

The actor Alexandre Fabre shared on Instagram a collective message, signed by the "actresses and actors of Plus Belle La Vie". "He was, he is and will forever be Roland Marci, the unforgettable patriarch of the Mistral, the pillar of the series, the incarnation of the South he loved so much," reads, among others.

Laëtitia Milot shared a simple black frame, apparently too moved by this disappearance. Laurent Kerusoré, who played his son, Thomas Marci, in the series, did the same, before expressing his grief in an Instagram Story. "Some might be surprised by my silence. It is, alas, only a reflection of my sorrow and pain. I'm just waiting to be able to say goodbye. Thank you," he wrote.

The family of the series as well as the fans are still reeling from this incomprehensible news.
