Emirati entrepreneur, Maryam Essa Al Ali, spent several years providing training and consulting services to entrepreneurs through the portal of her own company, which she established in Dubai, after graduating from Zayed University and her desire to break into the professional field and provide a new and different model in the world of consulting.

Dr. Mariam sought to develop her skills, by pursuing her academic studies and obtaining a doctorate in business administration from Georgia State University, USA, in order to achieve a common dream with her husband, represented in the project of a major training and consulting company in the United States, interested in providing future visions and applied programs in the fields of entrepreneurship and self-development.

Future prospects

At the beginning of her interview with Emirates Today, Maryam stopped at the circumstances of pursuing her graduate studies in America, which she rushed to fulfill the desire of her parents, and confidence in her ability to challenge herself, and engage in the process of achieving her big dreams of excellence and reaching new horizons of knowledge, learning and leadership.

She said: "Today I remember the experience of the university's strenuous monthly lessons, which forced me to travel more than eight times a year to America, to spend days between travel experiences and attend classes and then return directly to the UAE through New York Airport, at a time when direct flights between Dubai and Atlanta were not available."

She continued: «In the meantime, I decided to open a specialized training center in Dubai, called «Ghabsha» as a metaphor for the early hours of the morning before sunrise, through which I sought, and by providing a set of applied and scientific programs and consultations in the field of entrepreneurship, to achieve a basic goal, which is not only to present information, but to help those concerned through practical and effective steps to start launching their new projects and achieve the desired leadership».

On the secrets of her success in upgrading her experience in the diaspora, and registering her presence as an Emirati entrepreneur abroad despite the challenges of competition, Maryam stressed her constant bet on effort and continuity in the search for solutions and tools that help her improve her experience, noting the importance of commitment and credibility in stabilizing the success process and achieving goals, citing in this context her difficult experience in completing her doctoral thesis, which was entitled "The Spirit of Place and Customer Experience... A case study in the US state of Alaska, which I completed in a difficult period that accompanied the emergence of the Corona pandemic and its increasing health risks around the world.

Dr. Mariam advised the young generation and those who took the entrepreneurial step to stay away from hesitation, fear and not waiting, and instead to start implementing the first step, to create all conditions conducive to development, progress and upgrading of business, in order to achieve goals.

Between two cities

Regarding the step of settling in the United States and her humanitarian and professional relations with the UAE, and the step of establishing her own company, Maryam stressed that she "has not hesitated since her launch in the field to provide her knowledge and experience that she has accumulated over the years to her countrymen," as she is currently participating through her strategic partnerships with the UAE government in the training program "Jahez", which aims to train 65,<> government employees.
