▲ Heavy rains and strong winds caused damage to farmland in Jeonnam


As of 6 a.m. today (5th), all heavy rain advisories in the entire area have been lifted.

As a result, the Central Disaster Safety Headquarters (Critical Script) lifted the "Caution" stage of the Crisis Alert and the Critical Script Emergency Phase 6 as of 1 a.m.

The blocked air and sea roads are also normalizing.

As of 5 a.m., 7 ferries on 10 routes, including Gangwon~Ulleung, and Ulleung~Dokdo, have been suspended, and aircraft are scheduled to operate normally.

There are seven controlled roads, including Busan and Gyeongnam, and 7 trails in eight national parks are still blocked.

No casualties have yet been counted as a result of the heavy rain.

There were three cases of loss of slope (two in Busan and one in Jeonnam) and damage to facilities such as flooding of the construction site of the Gwangju Subway Airport Station.

In South Jeolla, crop damage was rapid.

In Podu-myeon and Namyang-myeon in Goheung-gun, Maryang-myeon in Gangjin County, and Ungchi-myeon in Boseong-gun, 8 hectares of rice fields that had been planted were flooded by rainwater.

Crop damage occurred in 276 hectares of wheat and barley cultivation land in Daedeok-eup in Jangheung-gun, Chojo-myeon and Deukryang-myeon in Boseong-gun, and Sinjeon-myeon and Doam-myeon in Gangjin county.

In the North District of Gwangju, 3 households were inconvenienced by power outages.

The estimated rainfall today (2th) is 1~175mm in the central, North Jeolla, and Gyeongsang regions, 525~722mm in the South Jeolla area, and less than 6mm in the south coast of Jeolla.
