Customized curricula

There is no doubt that the process of designing traditional curricula involves strenuous efforts, intensive research, and analysis of various types of information and data, and it is not spared from errors and lapses; to be fair, I say that it is a very difficult and complex process, because it aims to establish stable knowledge bases for an entire age group, regardless of the underlying behavioral difference between its members, or in their scientific and literary aspects, and even with regard to their understanding of societal patterns and values, but fortunately there is always our friend artificial intelligence, problem solver and challenge extinguisher, It is possible to say that education is one of the areas in which artificial intelligence will bring about profound changes, by designing curricula dedicated to students that fill knowledge gaps at the collective and individual levels, and be up to the responsibility and hopes.

Yes, do not be too surprised, artificial intelligence is able to design customized curricula for each student individually, and based on his performance levels and individual learning styles, during the continuous collection and analysis of student data, artificial intelligence algorithms can identify areas in which he needs more support and assistance, and thus follow a more specialized curriculum that meets the needs of the student, and provides him with a unique style of learning that keeps pace with his interests and keeps pace slow or accelerated. In addition, artificial intelligence can explore other aspects of the student, such as his background and interests, and then work to create a more attractive curriculum, improves learning outcomes and provides an exceptional opportunity for the student to reach his full potential, and at the same time artificial intelligence will save a lot of time and effort for teachers, and will allow them to focus on other aspects of the educational process, such as student participation in both large and small, and also guide them and help them solve their problems.

For example, in order to design a curriculum customized for a student, artificial intelligence first assesses the student's current levels of knowledge and skill, through a set of initial tests that identify his kinks and strengths, and then analyzes data on learning preferences, such as his preferred learning style, and the types of content that he finds most interesting and attractive, and accordingly learning experiences and various sources are identified, which are textbooks, videos, the Internet, field activity and many others; This is the artificial intelligence constantly monitoring the student's performance as he progresses in the curriculum, and immediately adjusts the degree of difficulty or pace according to need and circumstances, if the student suffers from understanding a specific issue or concept, artificial intelligence provides additional resources related to the specific point that stopped the student, and eluded him to understand it, and in return if the student is diligent and superior, artificial intelligence will modify the level of difficulty and raise the degree of challenge to suit the student's passion and mental abilities.

But as always with AI, there are challenges associated with ensuring the privacy and security of student data, as well as the AI algorithms themselves, which must be responsible, diverse, free of bias, and also represent all categories of students; all of these challenges can be solved by formulating the strict ethical, procedural and regulatory frameworks that will govern the work of AI in the education sector.

In conclusion, I say that the educational revolution is coming, and the human element in it will remain continuous and supportive, because in order for this revolution to succeed, it must achieve a balance between artificial intelligence, which is responsible for designing and automating curricula, and the teachers supervising the educational experience and the goodness of its outputs.
