Police are also investigating whether the plant took sufficient measures to prevent cargo from disengaging during slope unloading.

According to the standard safety work instructions, safety measures should be taken on slopes such as shorings or go-timbers when handling cargo.

Police said that as several people were unloading at the time, there is a possibility that the number of people involved may increase depending on the outcome of the investigation.

Meanwhile, the Busan National Police Agency said it will strengthen safety activities on the roads around the elementary school where the accident occurred, such as considering restricting the entry of trucks and trucks of dangerous companies during school hours.
