It passed like a rocket on the "Milky Way", the 2X2 lane stretch of metropolitan road that leads from the Toulouse ring road to Beauzelle. The gendarmes of Haute-Garonne tell on their Facebook page their "astonishment" in a case of speeding dating back to the night of April 15 to 16.

On this stretch of road limited to 90 km/h, they flashed a car at 183 km/h (retained speed 173 km/h) and naturally intercepted it. The driver was unable to present his licence. And for good reason, he was just 16 years old. Three passengers, also minors, were part of the ride. The teenager said he stole the keys to his parents' car to "take his friends for a night ride".

The parents of the four young people were awakened by the marshal. The car was subject to an "administrative immobilization" for seven days. Its intrepid driver must be summoned to the juvenile courts.
