It was solved today in the afternoon the mystery linked to the death of 70-year-old Lorenzo Pucillo, social doctor of Picerno (militant team in Serie C), which took place on March 21 in the countryside of Pescopagano, in the province of Potenza. Pucillo's body was found the next day, March 22, not far from his farm. At first, it was assumed that the doctor had been run over and killed by a cattle belonging to his farm, but later a gunshot wound caused by a rifle was discovered on the body.

After just over a month, the Carabinieri today stopped a farmer, Giovanni Battista Errico, 41 years old. The man allegedly "made a full confession" and is now charged with aggravated murder. At the base of the crime there would be "previous quarrels for reasons of neighborhood". Pucillo dedicated part of his time to cattle breeding and his animals had often trespassed, invading the lands of Errico. This circumstance, over time, had led to quarrels between the two men, culminating in the crime of March 21.
