With the "finger eyeliner", TikTok has put its finger on a pro trick. In makeup, there are those who succeed the first time, and those who will have to restart their beauty routine several times, before drawing a beautiful line of eyeliner. After the false eyelash glue to hold the fringe in place, it is the turn of the eyeliner line to be reinvented on the Chinese social network, by no longer applying it with a brush, but with a finger. A technique approved for its ease and speed.

High precision

Unlike foundation, lipstick, and even contouring, applying eyeliner can be complicated. The shaky hand, the relaxed skin, or the drooping eyelids are all constraints that can hinder the sketch of a perfect line. Well, that was before! Before que@bexcxmpbell share with his 600,000 followers a gesture as simple as it is accessible: the "finger eyeliner". A technique that allows - every time - to draw a perfect line to obtain a doe's eye, and this in record time.

To reproduce this gesture, you only need a simple eye pencil, the color of your choice. Instead of applying it directly to the corner of the eye, you have to put a little material on the index finger. It's child's play. Once this task is done, simply place your finger on the tip of the eye, "where you feel the pressure," says the user, then move the index finger outwards. That's it. Particularly appreciated, this beauty gesture has been viewed more than 5 million times, and is the subject of comments all more laudatory than the others.

A downside, however: some users believe that the line of eyeliner lasts less long by adopting this gesture than by drawing a line with a pencil. A reflection that seems logical if we consider that the application to the finger (necessarily) blurs the material. It is therefore better to plan to put a layer back on at certain times of the day - or night.
