An investigation was opened, after the power cut that affected the clinic of Ganges (Hérault), on the sidelines of the visit of Emmanuel Macron, on April 20, learned 20 Minutes from the prosecutor's office of Montpellier. The investigation is about "deliberate endangerment of others." It was entrusted to the gendarmerie company of Lodève.

The clinic had filed a complaint. "At the time of the cut, we had five surgeries in progress. The malicious act is totally unacceptable," Lamine Gharbi, president of the Cap Santé group, told Midi Libre. The prefect had condemned this act, and made a report to the prosecutor's office of Montpellier, also pointing to the power cuts that affected the college of Ganges, and the airport of Montpellier.

The CGT has nothing to do with it, says Sophie Binet

On Twitter on Thursday, François Braun, the Minister of Health, had also condemned "strongly the voluntary triggering of a power cut [...] in the clinic. To protest is not to play with the health of patients and the work of caregivers. »

The CGT claimed Thursday two power cuts, at Montpellier airport and the college of Ganges, where Emmanuel Macron visited. The power cut that affected the clinic, however, has not been claimed. On BFMTV, Sophie Binet, the boss of the CGT assured Monday that the union had nothing to do with it. "You never cut off electricity in health facilities," she said.
