A 25-year-old woman was discovered Friday stabbed to death in her house in Argenteuil (Val-d'Oise) and her companion was placed in custody, AFP learned from the Pontoise prosecutor's office and a source close to the case. "A woman was discovered at her home stabbed, probably in the afternoon," the Pontoise prosecutor's office told AFP in the evening.
The investigation has just begun
A man is currently in custody for the homicide investigation, which is only "at its very beginning", added the prosecutor's office, refusing to give more details on his profile. According to a source close to the case, the person arrested is the companion of the victim. The investigation is entrusted to the judicial police of Cergy-Pontoise.
