Only 3 celebrities did not lose the blue Twitter authentication mark even though they did not pay

Despite the criticism and controversy sparked by the decision to stop the verification mark for the accounts of celebrities who refuse to pay for this documentation, which confirmed the identity of about 300,<> verified users, many of whom are journalists, athletes and public figures.

Among those who lost the blue authentication marks are Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, Donald Trump, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kim Kardashian, Bill Gates and many others

Sky News quoted The Verge as saying that three celebrities did not lose the "blue mark" on Twitter despite refusing to pay for the verification service.

Canadian actor William Shatner, basketball star LeBron James and American writer Stephen King are all involved.

According to The Verge, the owner of the site, Elon Musk, was personally tasked with paying for the service of verifying the accounts of the three celebrities.

King said on his Twitter account: "My Twitter account shows that I subscribed to the Twitter Blue service. I didn't."

Musk replied: "You're welcome. Namaste."

The cost of keeping marks ranges from $8 per month for individual users, to a starting price of $1000,50 per month for verifying an organization's account, in addition to $<> per month for each account belonging to an entity or employee.
