Famous show host Yoo Nan-hee, who was embroiled in a controversy over the desecration of the deceased, has been suspended from CJ On Style indefinitely.

On the 18th, the Korea Communications Review Commission (KCC) held an advertising review subcommittee and voted to "caution" against CJ Onstyle for broadcasting Yoo Nan-hee's inappropriate remarks. In this regard, an official of CJ On Style, who attended the meeting to make a statement of opinion, said, "We have decided to suspend Yoo Nan-hee indefinitely."

Earlier, on February 2, Yoo Nan-hee was broadcasting cosmetics sales on CJ On Style's home shopping broadcast, saying, "I thought of Mo comedian. I wish he had known about this." He did not mention the comedian's real name, but it was repeatedly pointed out that it was reminiscent of the late comedian Park Ji-sun, who suffered from worsening skin diseases, and that he was even bringing in the deceased to sell cosmetics.

In response, Yoo Nan-hee apologized for the offending remarks on the air, but angry viewers filed a consumer complaint with the Korea Communications Review Commission.

Afterward, Yoo Nan-hee apologized on social media, saying, "I sincerely apologize for reminiscent of someone and hurting many people's hearts." He continued, "She was a junior I loved so much, and she was the one who hurt more than anyone when she left. I missed her like other colleagues and fans," he explained, adding, "I feel a heavy day because the longing in the back of my heart hurt you because one word that came out with regretful feelings during the broadcast without knowing it."

Earlier, the vigilance committee also voted to discipline and "warn" the relevant personnel for the controversial broadcast of show host Jung Yoon-jung, who caused controversy by using abusive language during the live broadcast, and posted it to the plenary meeting. Hyundai Home Shopping has decided to suspend Jung Yoon-jung, who hosted the show, indefinitely.
