Nikki Sixx confirms that Mötley Crüe is recording a new album

Nikki Sixx has announced that her band, Mötley Crüe, is working on new songs. A news that arrives in the midst of controversy related to the departure of their guitarist, Mick Mars replaced by John 5.

"Another day of writing songs that will tear up," he posted on Twitter, before claiming that the band was working with producer Barry Pointer. "We write. The creative process of songwriting has always been the heart of our band. We're going to go into the big studio next week and start recording some of them and see where it goes. We do not have a definitive plan at this stage. Just let the songs guide us," he added.

If a new album is released, it will follow Saints Of Los Angeles, released in 2009, and the first without their original guitarist, Mick Mars. The latter announced his retirement from touring in October, before accusing the group of having fired him and trying to steal his shares in companies linked to Mötley Crüe.

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes kiss at Coachella

Would there be a blowback between Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes? The former couple was in any case spotted at Coachella kissing passionately, as can be seen on a video broadcast by several media on Twitter.

None of the representatives of the two musicians has yet commented on this rapprochement. They had been in a relationship from 2019 to 2021. The singer has since been linked to Austin Kevitch, chief executive of Lox.
