It is not yet crowned that King Charles III remains very concerned about royal family affairs. One of the latest concerns the lack of respect for him from his brother, Prince Andrew. The least savory member of British royalty would refuse to leave his home in Windsor, a sumptuous mansion known as the Royal Lodge that he has occupied since 2003 and whose value is estimated at $ 37 million.

And far from Charles III the idea of putting his brother on the street since he gave him the keys of Frogmore Cottage, the house once reserved for Prince Harry and his wife Meghan before the king asked them to empty the place. But Prince Andrew does not intend to let go of the fat so easily.

A home coveted by Prince William

"Andrew doesn't want to leave because this property is seen as a symbol of his rank in the royal family — it's an important property in the family's heritage," a royal source told Page Six. "But William, who is the heir to the throne, has his sights set on it." The prince was forced to stay his entire family at Adelaide Cottage, a four-bedroom mansion also located in Windsor.

It would then seem legitimate that the heir occupies this property, especially since Prince Andrew was removed from his royal prerogatives following the scandal raised by his links with Jeffrey Epstein and his indictment for sexual assault. It remains to be seen how Charles III will manage to unravel this family quarrel, given that forced exile, very practical in other times, is no longer a possibility.
