With a masterful twist in the middle of the 3rd episode, Jesse Armstrong's series has just signed the biggest event in its history. Launched on March 26 in the United States, each installment will be broadcast in US+24, every Monday, on the Amazon Prime platform.

What is the "Succession" series about?

The wealthy and powerful Roy family has been running one of the world's largest media groups for decades. Logan Roy, played by the stunning Brian Cox, patriarch of the tribe, makes the decision to gradually bequeath his company to his four children, Connor, Kendall, Roman and Siobhan. A decision that will give rise to many rivalries within this siblings...

Consisting of a total of thirty-two chapters, this program premiered in June 2018 on HBO. Very quickly, "Succession" established itself as one of the network's greatest successes: created by Jesse Armstrong, who signed all the episodes at the beginning and end of the season, the series is based on a writing that constantly balances between comedy and tragedy and actors with incredible performances. Jeremy Strong and Sarah Snook won, in 2022, the Golden Globes for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress for a Drama Series.

A final round in 10 episodes

In season 3, the father of the family decided to sell his company Waystar Royco to a Swedish tech billionaire, Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgård). But this liquidation is far from unanimous and very quickly disputes are felt.

The viewer is once again plunged into the heart of an endless trench war between Logan Roy and his offspring ready to do anything to derail the deal that would jeopardize their legacy. Between low blows and big smiles, this final season has already started on a high note.

An episode 3 that shook fans around the world

Despite 2 first parts already very rich in twists and turns, nothing seemed to announce the upheaval that would fall on the Roy family and on the viewers, during the broadcast of episode 3, on April 10. Entitled "Connor's Wedding," this chapter features the union of the siblings' eldest son, Connor Roy (Alan Ruck), and his fiancée, Willa Ferreyra (Justine Lupe).

The whole family gathers for the occasion aboard a privatized boat on the coast of Ellis Island in New York. All but one, since the patriarch is then on a plane ready to take him to Sweden to meet the famous Lukas Matsson, whose company GoJo is supposed to merge shortly with Waystar. While the festivities are in full swing, an unexpected event will upset the fragile balance of the family and change the lives of its members forever.
