The police were called this Sunday evening in the city of Londeau in Noisy-le-Sec (Seine-Saint-Denis). Witnesses said an individual was stabbing a young woman in the lobby of a building. The man had sat on his victim, lying on the ground, and had stabbed her several times in the neck, reports Le Figaro, citing the police.

Officials stopped the 23-year-old assailant using a taser. The alcoholic individual was arrested and taken into custody. His knife with a 10 cm blade was seized. The prosecutor's office said the suspect had a romantic relationship with the victim, which ended it. The man had made an appointment with the young woman at the bottom of the building to talk.

The victim out of danger

The investigation was entrusted to the departmental judicial police service of Seine-Saint-Denis (SDPJ 93). The victim's prognosis was life-threatening at the time of his medical treatment. This is no longer the case. The young woman suffered multiple injuries to her throat, face and torso.
