We've looked at it before, but we're going to share one more story about our coverage to root out drunk driving that threatens other people's lives. In the early morning hours, a car drove dangerously in reverse, and the taxi driver chased the car and called the police. The driver was found to have had his license revoked and was intoxicated.

A black passenger car appears at the
intersection, turns right, and then suddenly crosses the center line and drives backwards.

They scramble across lanes and make sharp turns just before hitting the centerline separator.

Upon spotting this, the taxi driver, Mr. Yi Mo, follows the vehicle and immediately calls the police.

[Mr. Lee Mo/Drunk Car Chase Taxi Driver (Police Report Voice): I think I'm going to have a big accident right now. I drove backwards and almost pushed the median. ○○Elementary school crossroads. Hurry up, hurry up.]

Sensing that he was driving drunk, Mr. Lee continued his chase for about three kilometers and alerted the police in real time.

Before the police arrived, the vehicle continued to drive dangerously through the child protection zone twice, violating the center line and nearly hitting a parked vehicle.

If it weren't for the rare early morning hours of cars and people, it would have led to a major accident.

[Mr. Lee Mo/Drunk Car Chase Taxi Driver: You can't hurt anyone else. There's also a children's sanctuary there. I provoked him and ran away, but I was worried about a bigger accident, so I quietly followed him from behind and just called the police.]

Police caught the vehicle in a nearby residential area about 10 minutes later, and a breathalyzer test showed that the driver, who was in his 30s, had a revoked license.
