But the police also found Tuesday, in an apartment adjoining a grocery store, the corpse of a dog, in an advanced state of decomposition, in the middle of a room. The animal rights association Stéphane-Lamart has said it intends to file a complaint for abandonment. She also joined the proceedings as a civil party. According to this association, the animal would have "died of starvation". Investigations are ongoing.
