The Pyeongtaek Police Department in Gyeonggi announced today (10th) that it has urgently arrested and is investigating high school student Group A on suspicion of attempted murder.
Party A is accused of injuring the neck area by brandishing a weapon at an elementary school student, Mr. B, who was eating cup noodles inside an apartment complex in Pyeongtaek at around 4:3 pm yesterday (5rd).
Party B is seriously injured and is receiving hospital treatment, fortunately, his life is not in danger.
At that time, it was confirmed that Group B had purchased cup noodles at a nearby convenience store with a friend and was eating them inside the apartment complex when he was suddenly attacked.
According to eyewitness statements, Soldier A was found to be dressed in black, including tops, bottoms, and hats.
After the crime, Party A fled the scene immediately.
The police, who responded to the eyewitness report, tracked him down based on nearby CCTV and arrested Group A at a residence in Pyeongtaek at around 40:8 a.m. today.
A police official said, "No investigation has yet been conducted on the suspect," and they plan to apply for an arrest warrant against Group A as soon as the investigation is completed.
