The cast of Netflix's next black series is prestigious to say the least. Indeed, the platform offers Isabelle Adjani, Nicole Kidman and Dakota Fanning for the series The Perfect Couple.

The rest of the cast, unveiled by the platform at the end of last week is the same. We will also find Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan), Eve Hewson (My friend Adele), Billy Howle (Witness for the Prosecution), Omar Epps (The Devil You Know) or Meghann Fahy (Of Those Who Dare).

A marriage gone wrong

Based on the novel of the same name by Elin Hilderbrand, The Perfect Couple tells the story of Amelia Sacks, played by Eve Hewson, who marries the son of one of Nantucket's wealthiest families. But when a corpse appears on the beach, everyone's champagne dreams quickly vanish and give way to suspicion. And the wedding turns into an investigation.

Billy Howle will play the groom, while Nicole Kidman will play his mother, and Liev Schreiber, his father. Dakota Fanning will be the sister-in-law, Jack Reynor and Sam Nivola, the groom's brothers, and Ishaan Khattar, his best friend. As for Isabelle Adjani, she will play a family friend.

Susanne Bier directs all six episodes of the series, which has already begun filming.

Spring promises to be full of projects for Isabelle Adjani, who is also preparing the release, by the end of the year, of an album of duets under the leadership of Pascal Obispo.
