On March 16, while Elisabeth Borne has just triggered article 49.3 to pass the pension reform, a demonstration is improvised in the streets of Albi counting nearly 500 people. Quickly, some meet in front of the prefecture of Tarn and burning garbage cans are thrown on the railings of the building.

This Thursday, six trade unionists, suspected of having committed these degradations were arrested and placed in custody according to LFI MP Karen Erodi. An information confirmed by the prosecutor of Albi, Stéphanie Bazart and trade unionists Tarnais.

"Colleagues from the FSU, the Confédération paysanne and the Sud were arrested as terrorists, when they could have been summoned. We denounce the atmosphere of intimidation. We have a frank concern about the authoritarian drift, "responded Benoît Foucambert, co-secretary of the FSU of Tarn.

Dozens of supporters gathered in front of the Albi police station to protest against the arrests. On the day of the facts, the prefect of Tarn had denounced these acts and indicated that he had "asked the national police to make every effort to arrest the perpetrators of these unacceptable acts".
