Hikers walking among the spring flowers to the summit also look lighter in their attire for the spring weather.

On the way to the top of Inwangsan Mountain, there were also more visitors than usual at Baekundae in Bukhansan.

Forsythia dotted the mountains.

Smiles spread across the faces of people walking up and down the yellowed road.

With forsythia blooming earlier than expected, the Eungbongsan Forsythia Festival was moved forward by a week.

[Choo Jae-min/Mapo-gu, Seoul: We all came out to take pictures of forsythia at the photography club. Last spring, I took off my mask for a while to take pictures and put it back on, but this year I don't wear a mask, so it's good to take pictures.]

The cherry blossoms in Seoul officially bloomed yesterday (25th).

When the branches of the Yoshino cherry tree in front of the Seoul Meteorological Observatory bloom, it announces official flowering, 10 days earlier than last year, and the second fastest since observation in 1922.

Hangang Park was crowded with people with their lovers and families stretching out mats.

[Park Jong-o/Gyeonggi Gunpo: Corona is over, I came to see the cherry blossoms, but they haven't bloomed yet, so I'm flying kites with my kids.]

With the lifting of the mandatory wearing of masks on public transportation, it was a day that allowed us to breathe in the deeper smell of spring and the holiday that greeted us with ease.
