In February, while inspecting the Tuilières dam in Saint-Capraise-de-Lalinde, Dordogne, EDF employees found the presence of a man's body, a gag on his face and hands tied quickly ruling out the accident or natural death. A month after this macabre discovery, three men have just been indicted for this murder and were imprisoned this Friday.

"The facts are part of a personal dispute between the victim and the perpetrators, who knew each other," said the prosecutor of the Republic of Solène Belaouar in a statement. It would be a "sentimental dispute" according to the daily Sud-Ouest.

The investigation, entrusted to the research section of Bordeaux and the research brigade of Bergerac, led to the arrest Wednesday morning of the three suspects, indicted for "murder" and "kidnapping, detention or sequestration not followed by a voluntary release before the 7th day". All three live in the neighbouring department of Lot-et-Garonne and are known to the judicial and police services.
