The man used the identity of a deceased person to ship goods around the world. The Guardia di Finanza has identified the suspected citizen of Turin thanks to the results of the investigations of the Customs and Monopolies Agency regarding some suspected consignments of goods.

After an activity of observation and stalking, the Financiers searched the possible places of the illicit activity, where numerous counterfeit items were found, including football team shirts and records autographed by celebrities.

During the searches, dozens of shirts with fake signs of sports champions such as Paris Saint Germain, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Juventus and Milan were seized. The prices of fake products ranged from about 100 euros for sports shirts to a few thousand euros for rarer ones. The man was accused of trading products with false signs, receiving stolen goods and fraud in commerce, and his financial and patrimonial assets were seized for over one hundred thousand euros.
