On the night between 7 and 8 December 2018 the "worst scenario" occurred in the Lanterna Azzurra disco in Corinaldo, in the province of Ancona, where five teenagers and a 39-year-old mother died, crushed in the crowd after sprays of stinging spray in the room where the dj-set of Sfera Ebbasta was expected. To speak in the classroom in Ancona the rapper Fedez called to report on the security conditions of the club where he also performed in dj-set on two occasions in 2015 and 2016. Fedez explained the lethal mix of conditions and the predictable overcrowding of the disco: "high cachet (17,500 euros the compensation provided for Sfera), low expenditure for tickets (20 euros) and limited capacity".

"We have a place with a capacity of 500 people - he said - an artist sold in dj-set at 20-30 thousand euros, ticket at 20 euros: those who manage the date are aware that the owner of the venue to organize it will have to fill the room beyond the limit ". Fedez told of fees up to "60-70-80 thousand euros" in even smaller premises but with prices and customers such that they managed to balance the accounts without "filling the room". At the end he had an interview with the relatives of a victim. "A very human and helpful person", commented Paolo Curi, husband of Eleonora Girolomini, 39, one of the victims of that evening together with young people, between 14 and 16 years old, Asia Nasoni, Emma Fabini, Mattia Orlandi, Benedetta Vitali, Daniele Pongetti.

On the witness stand also Gionata Boschetti "SferaEbbasta": that day was his birthday, after a performance at the Altromondo Studios in Rimini, he had arrived with the staff a kilometer from the Lanterna; The manager walked to the club and was informed of the tragedy. "I had been pepper spray at shows other times - said Sfera - but without serious consequences. Once we had to clear the hall and then the show resumed after half an hour"; "We felt burning eyes and difficulty breathing while people were agitated"; "Then the workers opened the exits, people left and came back without any injuries."

Security? "Working with one of the most famous agencies in Italy, I imagine the contracts were with compliant premises". "They told us: the show is sold-out, then I don't know how many presences". To the two singers, Mattia's father, Giuseppe Orlandi has launched an appeal to organize an evening together and the proceeds are donated in part to buy two ambulances, one for the province of Ancona and one for Pesaro. Next hearings set for 31 March, 21 and 28 April.
