Vanilla, lemon, strawberry. Cone or pot. Sorbet or ice cream. It's all déjà vu! For ice cream day, 20 Minutes managed to find the addresses of ice cream makers with creations that are out of the ordinary. And they will certainly make your palate travel in a deliciously frosty universe.

Fried ice cream at Isaka

Without a doubt the best of our discoveries: fried ice cream. Daniela, the owner, came up with this idea thanks to a candy from Asia, the white rabbit candy. Isaka has very original ingredients such as pandan (a plant popular in Southeast Asia for its taste equivalent to vanilla), dark sesame or millo chocolate.

To make this ice-cream fried, Daniela coats the already unusual scoop of ice cream in panko (Japanese bread) and fries everything for a minute. She then adds toppings and coconut coulis.

Our verdict: Pleasantly surprised by this unusual technique. The ice does not melt under its breaded dress. These often unknown ingredients ensure a culinary journey.

Popular dishes in Glazed's ice cream version

In collaboration with the delivery platform Deliveroo, artisan ice cream maker Glazed has pushed originality to its peak by revisiting three street-food classics. First the famous pizza, renamed Pizz'ice, a mozzarella ice cream with tomato oregano sorbet and basil jelly. Maki ice cream, called Californ'ice, with Japanese rice and avocado sorbet and blond sesame seed. And finally, the Gyros ice cream under the name of Veg'Ice, taste white sauce, mayonnaise and fresh chives.

Our verdict: The universe between these popular dishes and ice cream is very successful. Even if the tastes will not be unanimous, they are still fun to test!

Ice sticks at La Paleteria

44 flavors of ice creams and sorbets made from real fruits and vegetable milk (without dyes or preservatives), so that everyone will find happiness. The idea of this plurality of tastes and their combinations come from Mexico. "It is a concept that made a lot of success in Brazil in the years 1914-1915. And from there, it went all over the world, "explains the manager of the shop La Paleteria. In the form of ice cream sticks there are tastes such as, nutella-banana, macchiato-salted butter or lemon pie. Deja vu in a ball of ice, certainly, but less in the form of ice cream sticks!

Our verdict: These Eskimo ice creams offer a tasty and unprecedented refreshment. The macho ice cream is a real coffee in the mouth!
