A mother convinces her family members to commit suicide "because the world is not worth living"

In a bizarre incident that sparked a wave of controversy, a mother living in Switzerland managed to convince her family members to end their lives by throwing their bodies from a high altitude, "because the world is not worth living in."

The 41-year-old woman lived in Switzerland and believed in a conspiracy theory.

In an inexplicable way, the woman persuaded her husband (40 years old), her twin sister and her eight-year-old daughter to jump from the seventh floor where they died, and only her 15-year-old son survived this family tragedy, but he was seriously injured and entered a state of coma and lost memory.
The incident occurred when the five threw themselves from the balcony of their apartment in Montreux, Switzerland, on March 24 last year, according to investigations.
Investigations showed that the victims showed no resistance before they died, autopsies showed no trace of drugs, and neighbors did not hear any screams at the time of the incident.

Investigations revealed that the family was isolated from their surroundings, rarely went out, and taught their two children inside the walls of the house, who were supposed to study at school like their peers.

Investigators said the coronavirus pandemic and the Ukraine war supported that belief. They added that the mass suicide was carefully planned by the mother "in search of a better world", after evidence was found to confirm it during a house search.
