It was not yet dark when the blows rang out. Sunday, March 19, firefighters were called to rescue a man wounded by several shots by firearm in Nantes. According to firefighters, the 28-year-old man was hit shortly before 18:30 p.m. at the level of rue d'Angleterre, in the Malakoff district. "Despite attempts at resuscitation, the victim was declared dead by the SMUR doctor," explain the rescue.

Police were also present at the scene. An investigation has been opened. According to witnesses interviewed by Presse Océan, at least four bullets hit the victim. The CRS were called to secure the street during the intervention of the scientific police. The Malakoff district has long been plagued by drug trafficking. Several garbage fires had to be treated by firefighters in the neighborhood that night following the tragedy.
