The companion of a municipal policewoman found dead at their home in Ronquerolles (Val-d'Oise), last Thursday, was indicted two days later for voluntary homicide by spouse. His placement in pre-trial detention was also requested by the Pontoise prosecutor's office, says La Gazette du Val-d'Oise.

An autopsy ordered

The victim, a police officer in Viarmes, was 35 years old and a mother of two. Her colleagues, worried not to see her at work, had raised the alarm. The gendarmes of the surveillance and intervention platoon had intervened and discovered her lifeless body at home. His companion was then arrested without resistance.

The Pontoise prosecutor's office did not give details on the circumstances of the tragedy. An autopsy was ordered to determine the cause of death.
