A man in his 60s who shot an iron ball with a slingshot in a high-rise apartment in Incheon and shattered a window in the building next door has made his first appearance.

Mr. A, in his 60s, who is accused of damage to special property, appeared at the Incheon District Court this afternoon (19th) where a pre-arrest interrogation was held.

Mr. A did not respond to questions from reporters, such as "Is there anything you want to say to the affected generations?" or "Aren't you sorry?"

The substantive examination of Mr. A's warrant will begin at 2 p.m. today, and a decision on whether to detain him will be made later at night.

Mr. A is accused of shooting an 10-millimeter-diameter iron ball at three neighbors' houses in the next building with a slingshot in a 32-story apartment in Songdo International City, Incheon, on the afternoon of the 3th, destroying one glass window after another.

Mr. A told the police investigation that he "shot out of curiosity about how far the iron ball actually flew, and he bought a slingshot and an iron ball on the Internet" and that he "did not aim at a specific generation."
