Sarah Polley is working on a behind-the-scenes film of awards season in Hollywood. A project she announced just before the start of the Oscars ceremony that took place last Sunday.
"I'm developing a project based on my experiences during awards season. I'm not kidding," she told Deadline, before revealing that she had enough spies to know everything about the course of the prestigious evening.
Sarah Polley wins on all fronts
"I have a direct line to all the directors and writers in the race. They're going to send me messages and emails to tell me what's going on as the evening progresses," Polley said. I have this informal team of writers and it's great. »
And the actress and director was a double winner that night since, not content with gleaning valuable information for her next film, she won the Oscar for best adapted screenplay for Women Talking.
