He lived alone. He died alone. Pier Attilio Trivulzio, a retired journalist from Milan, 83, was found dead in the apartment where he lived in Novara, in the popular district of Sant'Agabio. The death occurred from natural causes, according to what has been learned, dates back to last August.

The firefighters, alerted by some Lombard friends of the elderly reporter who had not heard from him for months, entered the house in Corso Trieste, north-east of the city, and found the lifeless body, practically mummified.

Trivulzio had moved to Novara for some time but had no relatives or friends in the city. The journalist had collaborated in the past with various newspapers including L'Espresso and La Notte, dealing especially with engines. In his past also the experience as a motor racing driver.
