Julia Garner is "keeping her fingers crossed" for the Madonna biopic to be made. Just a few months ago, the stars seemed to have aligned themselves in favor of the project that the queen of pop decided to write, produce and direct. Once the script was completed, the interpreter of La Isla Bonita had no trouble selling his film to Universal, and it was after organizing a casting that included Florence Pugh and Bebe Rexha that his choice fell on Julia Garner to embody it.



Until the coup de théâtre at the beginning of the year, the artist having announced his decision to celebrate his forty years of career with a Celebration Tour that will occupy him at least until the end of 2023. Asked about it on the sidelines of last Sunday's Oscars, the Ozark star expressed her hope to see the project succeed.
