Since 2018, the Heritage Lottery has helped restore French sites. For the 2023 edition, the Heritage Foundation has chosen 18 new sites to save, announced Thursday the Heritage Mission, entrusted to the animator Stéphane Bern. Several abbeys but also a synagogue, an old cathedral, a church, a mill or an aqueduct bridge are among the selected for this sixth operation.

The abbey of Saint-Antoine in Saint-Antoine-l'Abbaye (Isère) and that of Saint-Jean in Sorde-l'Abbaye (Landes), the former cathedral of Saint-Vincent in Mâcon (Saône-et-Loire) or the synagogue of Elbeuf (Seine-Maritime) are among the lucky ones.
