In response to a series of wide-area robberies, the government decided on an emergency response plan centered on eliminating "black bytes" information that claims high remuneration on SNS and strengthening the crackdown on "black lists" that leak personal data.

On the morning of November 17, the government held a ministerial meeting on crime countermeasures at the Prime Minister's Office, and Prime Minister Kishida attended and decided on an emergency response plan in response to a series of wide-area robberies.

As a measure to prevent the creation of perpetrators, the plan states that in order to detect and eliminate "dark bytes" information on SNS at an early stage, AI = artificial intelligence will be used to perform automatic searches and Internet operators will be urged to ensure deletion.

In addition, with the aim of eradicating tools that make it easier to execute, the government will use all laws and regulations to crack down on vendors and individuals who provide "black lists" to criminal groups, promote so-called "drop-off delivery" in front of the entrance, and support the installation of security cameras in homes.

At the meeting, Prime Minister Kishida stated, "Incidents called 'black job robberies' have occurred in various places, and many citizens have voiced their concerns, and it is the government's greatest responsibility to protect safe and secure people," and instructed Chairman Tani and other relevant ministers to make every effort to promote the plan.
