Change at Arte: the channel has indeed decided to change its prime time access from April 11, 2023. Between 19pm and 21pm, the channel will now offer a large segment presented by Jean-Mathieu Pernin. Viewers will also discover, in the early evening, a new magazine called "Le dessous des images", presented by journalist Sonia Devillers.

His role will be that of a master of ceremonies. Concretely, it will be on a plateau and will make the transitions between the different programs of this tranche. Among these programs, viewers already know Arte Journal or Elisabeth Quin's magazine 28 minutes. All that does not change.

But, at 19:30 pm, they will discover a new appointment called Le dessous des images, in reference to the emblematic geopolitical show Le dessous des cartes, created in 1990 by Jean-Christophe Victor and still on the air under the leadership of Émilie Aubry. This show will be presented by Sonia Devillers.

It had already been launched last November on the Arte website and on Youtube but it will now also be on television. The principle: decipher a photo, an image and tell its story. And this in order to shed light on current events.
