Co-founder and head of clinic of the Hôpital Faune Sauvage - Centre France, Tom explains that the premises are installed in the basement of a private house, in a garage: "we feel very quickly cramped, explains the young man, but we have all the equipment of a conventional veterinary clinic".

Injured by vehicles or victims of predation

Even though they are based in urban areas, Tom and his team mainly care for wildlife: "We collect animals injured following collisions with vehicles or victims of predation," says Amandine, head of care. In general, it is individuals who find injured or distressed wild animals who bring them to us."

OUR "ANIMAL PROTECTION" DOSSIER

"It's super important to help these wild animals because we are a link in this chain," says Tom. The idea is to be able to restore our biodiversity, which is declining, and repair the harm that humans can do to these animals. Because if most of our boarders are here, it's mainly due to the man."
