More than 400 CM2 students who had worked on March 8 on a French test, mandatory to access the international sections of the Alpes-Maritimes colleges, will have to stick to it again. Supervisors assisted some children and the exam was cancelled in its entirety. "There was an error in a center" and, "for the sake of fairness, the three centers will retake the test," says the rectorate of Nice to 20 Minutes, confirming information from France 3 Côte d'Azur.

According to the media, in two rooms, supervisors who had been questioned by students about the meaning of the expression "truancy", present in a text they had to complete, answered them. "This should not have been done" and it is a "breach of equity" with the other children, justified Laurent Le Mercier, the academy inspector in the Alpes-Maritimes.

"All parents received a letter explaining all this and telling them that the children would take this French test on March 29," the rectorate told 20 Minutes. A news that did not delight the families. "For little ones who put pressure on themselves the first time, it's not good," reacted a mother to France 3 Côte d'Azur, especially since, according to her, "they still have the oral exam to do".
