Armenian Heritage Arts Shine at Al Owais Cultural Theater

The Armenian band "Proof Art Dance" presented a concert at the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation Theater, attended by a large number of gourmet audiences, where the band performed colors of Armenian arts and music with an admirable skill.

The ceremony was attended by Abdul Hamid Ahmed, Secretary General of the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation, Bishop Mesrop Sarkissian, Archbishop of Armenians in the UAE, Ambassador Kigham Ghiribjanian, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the UAE, public figures from the Armenian community, intellectuals, media and other interested and friends of the Foundation.

Within two hours, the band performed traditional dances and songs, highlighting the traditional Armenian costumes decorated and colorful that were made and sewn with handicrafts, harmonizing, singing and dancing accompanied by traditional musical instruments that are inspired by the heritage of the fertile Armenian environment with all components of its social fabric.

The program included 15 pieces of art that are from the depth of the ancient Armenian culture, such as: Waltz, Sarnad, Vasporakan, Life and Fighting, Kochari, Dahul Artsakh, Caravan, Colors of Armenia, Rose in the Garden, Kindo, Eagle, Sayat Nova, Sword, Shalakho and Shoshi.

At the end of the ceremony, the Secretary-General of the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation presented a commemorative shield to the leader of the troupe and certificates of appreciation to its members, and thanked them for their fine art that reflected the heritage of an ancient and authentic people.

Proof Art Dance is one of Armenia's most famous dance groups.
