Under the theme 'Ramadan Masterpieces', Global Village, one of the world's most important cultural parks and the region's premier family destination for culture, entertainment and shopping, welcomes the holy month with a range of cultural and heritage activities and experiences.
Working hours will be changed during the Ramadan and the village welcomes its guests from six in the evening until two in the middle of the night daily. Global Village in Dubai is once again hosting the World Majlis, which offers guests the opportunity to experience Ramadan customs in an authentic traditional atmosphere, with evenings filled with oud, qanun and cello performances, as well as Tanoura performances.
Global Village is an ideal destination for shopping various Ramadan accessories, décor and flavours at more than 3500,<> shopping outlets. Global Village has a unique theme during the holy month, from the traditional decorations, lanterns, crescents and lights along the festive walkway, to the distinctive oriental motifs that will add a special festive character to Ramadan nights throughout Global Village.
The main theatre will host a range of festive performances inspired by the Ramadan atmosphere of the month, including the 30-player Arabesque Orchestra performed twice a day. Guests will also be treated to a violinist show and a light kelidoscope show.
