The Stockholm District Court considers that the state has not done enough to protect the woman's privacy from SVT's review. The woman claims that in the documentary she has been portrayed as anti-Semitic and that she has been deceived by journalists who worked under a false identity, so-called "wallraffing".

"What is startling is that it is quite traditional journalistic work that we have seen many other times that you might not imagine that the state will be liable for damages," says Mikael Ruotsi, senior lecturer in Constitutional Law at Uppsala University.

Watch him talk about the effects of the ruling going forward and more in the clip.
