Mr. A, who is believed to be the grandson of the late Mr. Chun Doo-hwan, has been controversial because he has posted a series of posts and videos criticizing the entire family.

"I am the grandson of former President Chun Doo-hwan and the son of Mr. Chon Jae-yong," Mr. A said on his social media account yesterday (14th), explaining that he is "taking a video to help uncover the criminal fraud that his family may be doing."

Mr. A first alleged that his father, Jeon Jae-yong, was "going through the legal process to become a U.S. citizen" and that he was "living under the fraudulent preacher of the law to escape the watchful eye of the law."

Regarding his uncle and Chun Doo-hwan's third son, Jeon Jae-man, he said, "I now run a winery in California. Wineries are a business that you can't get into unless you have a really astronomical amount of money, it smells like black money."

Mr. A revealed that he now works in the strategic consulting department of a Korean accounting firm in New York, and to prove that he is Chun Doo-hwan's grandson, he posted a driver's license, a certified copy, a photo of his grandfather as a child, and a document stating that he had renounced the inheritance of Mr. Chun Doo-hwan's inheritance.

According to a media outlet, the father, Jeon Jae-yong, responded to Mr. A's claim by saying, "Abby's fault for failing to take care of his son," and that "our son is suffering from depression."

Earlier, Mr. A said, "I was diagnosed with depression and ADHD since January last year and was hospitalized for a long time, but now I have no problems, so I did a good job for a few months after I was discharged," and claimed that "my family will use my psychiatric treatment records to frame me as crazy."
