A woman, a member of the staff of the Croix-Rousse hospital, has just been suspended from her duties by the Hospices civils de Lyon (HCL) after photographing corpses of the funeral service of the establishment. She then allegedly posted the images on social media.

According to information from Le Progrès, it was a whistleblower who encouraged Internet users to report the facts. When he saw these images circulating, he reportedly reported this behaviour to the hospital management and warned the authorities.

"These actions, intolerable and unworthy, have been the subject of an administrative investigation since Monday. The officer in question is the subject of a disciplinary procedure, "responded the HCL, as reported by the local media. In addition to the internal investigations, a complaint was filed.
