On the 13th, the Metropolitan Police Department arrested a 19-year-old suspect in Chiba Prefecture on suspicion of robbery and injury in a case where multiple people broke into a house in Sumida-ku, Tokyo and assaulted a woman living in this house.

In response to the investigation, she partially denied the charges, saying, "She entered the house of a stranger, but she did not hit or kick."

A 19-year-old man from Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture, was arrested.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, on the afternoon of the 13th, he broke into a house in Yahiro, Sumida Ward, and assaulted a woman in her 60s who lived in the house, breaking her waist and chest bones. He is suspected of robbery and other injuries after tying his hands and feet with adhesive tape.

He searched the room, but found no cash or anything, and fled without taking anything.

In response to the investigation, he denied some of the charges, saying, "There is no doubt that I entered a stranger's house, but I did not hit or kick."

At least one other person seems to have broken into the room, and a suspicious one-box car has been witnessed near the scene, so the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating that multiple people are involved.
