Mohammed bin Zayed to Emirati children on his day: You are the priority and the pillar of our work

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has affirmed the UAE's keenness to care for children, support them and provide them with a prosperous future. His Highness said in a tweet on his official account on the occasion of the Emirati Children's Day: «We seek through everything we do today to create a better world for our children in the future», and His Highness added, «On the Emirati Children's Day, we emphasize that the upbringing of children, providing the appropriate environment, and securing a better future for them. It is a priority and a fundamental pillar on which our work in the UAE is based. Investing in childhood is investing in the future."

On March 15 of each year, the UAE celebrates Emirati Children's Day, which coincides with the adoption of the Wadeema Child Law on March 15, 2016, which is an initiative of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, as part of the National Strategy for Motherhood and Childhood 2017-2020, with the aim of educating all segments of UAE society and residents about children's rights, and its importance in the field of family and society.
