The US actress Lindsay Lohan is expecting a baby. "We are blessed and excited!", wrote the former child star on Tuesday on Instagram to a photo of a white baby romper with the caption "coming soon".
However, the 36-year-old did not provide any information on the possible date of birth. She linked to the Instagram profile of her husband Bader Shammas. The actress and the businessman are married according to "People.com" since July.
Meanwhile, congratulations on the pregnancy arrived on Instagram, including from model Paris Hilton, fashion designer Donatella Versace and musician Questlove.
Lohan ("Girls Club – Beware of biting!") was last seen in the Netflix comedy "Falling for Christmas" (2022). For several years, she had only smaller appearances or roles in cheap productions, such as in the 2019 horror thriller "Among the Shadows".
The actress became known through hit comedies such as "Freaky Friday" and the beetle clothes "Herbie Fully Loaded". But then the film career lay fallow for a long time. Lohan had made headlines with drug excesses, arrests for drink-driving and other scandals.
