After a mother disappeared from a hospital in Daegu, another woman came to look for her, prompting the police to investigate.

According to the Daegu Police Agency's Women and Juvenile Crime Investigation Unit, Ms. A, a woman in her 1s, gave birth at a university hospital in Daegu on the 30st and was discharged from the hospital leaving her newborn baby alone at the hospital.

Miss A cited postpartum cooking and said that she would come to find her child soon.

However, Miss A did not show up, and ten days later, on the 13th, another woman, Miss B, in her 30s, came to the hospital and offered to take the child.

Mr. B reportedly claimed, "(The child) is registered for birth in my family register."

The hospital officials, who remembered the impressions on Ms. A's face, noticed that Ms. B was not a mother, and they were suspicious and called the police.

The police investigation revealed that Miss A was admitted and gave birth at the hospital using Miss B's name and social security number, and that the child had also been registered as Miss B's child.

Mr. B reportedly stated that Mr. A was an acquaintance of his.

The police are investigating Miss B's mother's reversal and whether there was a money transaction between the two of them through the child, and are also pursuing the whereabouts of Miss A, who disappeared.
