On a road in Yeoju, Gyeonggi, a parked car pulls out.

After swearing at the surroundings, the man got into the car and started driving.

Yong Min-soon, an office worker, knew it was drunk driving.

[Yong Min-soon/Wonju, Gangwon-do: A drunk person passed by, screaming profanities and going forward. I was looking at it, but I started the engine and went forward...]

As Mr. Yong gives chase, the car begins to pick up.

With its hazard lights on, the speed of the car quickly exceeds 140 km/h.

[Yongmin-soon/Wonju, Gangwon-do: 140? 140? It will come out to 150km. Oooh, that's very fast.]

Mr. Yong followed the vehicle for about 10 kilometers and informed the police of the vehicle's location in real time.

[Yong Min-soon/Wonju, Gangwon Province (call at the time): It's almost the end of the gates of the bridge. I've been drinking quite a bit, I see.]

Eventually, a waiting police car appeared near the shoulder of the road while the car slowed down.

[Yong Min-soon/Wonju, Gangwon-do: I see a police car, I see a police car.]

When he spotted the police, he tried to flee again, but the late-night runaway stopped when a police car stopped him.

Mr. Yong even saw that the police arrested the driver and left the scene.

[Yong Min-soon/Wonju, Gangwon-do: The first priority is not to have an accident, so I kept following it.]

Police measurements showed that the driver, who was in his 20s, had a blood-alcohol level of more than 0.1 percent intoxicated.
